Preparing to leave
Arrangements made. Tickets purchased. Bags packed. Families ready (mostly).
As we prepare to leave, we are looking forward what God has in store for our team on the Mehanna road. Pray for our team as we travel for a day to Niger and begin the work that God has laid on our lives.
We hear it's hot, but the Word will be spoken, scenes will be acted out and the seeds of His love for the Songhai will be sown. Pray that the seeds fall upon the good ground and will be prosperous.
What a joy to be the "hands and feet" with such a great group of folks -- the seven team members and the family that is First Hurst. It's going to be good.

As I prayed for you guys today, God gave me these verses from Isaiah.
Isaiah 45:1-3 "This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level mountains, I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name."
Thank you for being obedient and for being used among the people on the Mehanna Road. Know that we are praying for all of you. God has already gone before you.
