Nov./December 2006 - Vision Trip

1662117-1224631-thumbnail.jpgSeven folks from our church travelled to Niger on November 30.  We arrived to a warm greeting by the missionaries and the harsh reality of life in Africa.  We trained and saw wild giraffes the next day.  Then for the next five days we visited ALL 48 villagesin three teams.  We visited each village Chief presenting them with a gift of a Bible in Zarma, Christian tracts, DVD's of the Jesus Film and two cassette tapes with testimonies.  We asked questions about their village, including the population; how many  schools and clinics and what we could pray for in the name of Jesus.  We prayed with 44 Chiefs and 2 Songhai Kings.  We also passed out 1,100 cassette tapes and over 50 prayer dolls and 30 soccer balls.  One Chief said "anything you want to do here, you are welcome.  We are very tired of the Muslim Faith -it has caused us nothing but problems."  We returned home on December 12 praising God and thankful for all HE showed us HE was doing in Africa.
