October 2006- Prayer Dolls

1662117-1119105-thumbnail.jpgOver 50 prayer dolls were made for Songhai kids by our church members.  Dozens of women and children [no men sorry!] spent several fun filled nights learning to make ugly socks into these adorable dolls.  The dolls had the words "God Loves You" printed on them in the Zarma/Songhai language.  Each dolls will be delievered to a child on the Mehanna Road, one per village, and a picture and the name of the child will be given to the person/family that made the doll for daily prayer for that child and the village.  To learn more about prayer dolls and to get patterns email karissa@hometownnrh.net.
